Problem opening Midi Files
Hi, I am suddenly having a problem opening midi files in SPLAT. When I opened a project with multiple midi tracks, Sonar would always open a TTS-1 automatically with the midi tracks connected to the TTS-1. Suddenly this is not working. The midi tracks open but there is no TTS opening. I must have changed something unknowingly. Presently, my "Insert Soft Synth Options" page has four boxes checked when I open TTS. 1. Simple Instrument Track 2. Synth Property page 3. Recall Assignable Controls 4. Ask this every time Thanks for any help you can give me.

Hi. If you choose none as MIDI output, TTS1 will be inserted to the appropriate channels. All the best.

For automatic TTS-1 mapping make sure there are no Outputs enabled in Preferences > MIDI > Devices

I forgot to say that it had to be done in Preferences That's why scook is and was so important to this forum

I have nothing checked in Preferences>midi>devices. When I open up a blank project and insert a midi track, the midi output is reading 1-. When I click the dropdown arrow for midi out, I get the option for a new drum map and drum map manager. There are no other options. Thanks, Al

In order to have a MIDI file automatically map to TTS-1 it must be Opened instead of added to a project.
