Any skilled programmer here? - against all odds - extension to Sonar

Maybe any skilled Sonarian in programming  would like to add some helpful functionality to our beloved Sonar? As external program.

Plugin browser is very imperfect especially when there are zylion of plugins (as we know Waves bundles alone generate lots of them).

Layout file is kept as plain XML file (what's kind of weird within 1 single line). So if anybody would be able to create external program editor for such layouts with nice GUI and clever functionality it would be possible to extend Sonar even its development is stopped :)

Manually editing such file is not possible for human if there are many plugins but for small clever program it would be piece of cake (nomen omen).... So after scanning VSTs by Sonar and saving in layout it could be possible to edit such layout to get nice order of plugins. Additionally program could keep some user data as relations plugin-category etc to simplify it even more and provide way to sharing between users (yep, I believe many people will continue using Sonar in at least next few years)

Piotr

An external editor for plug-in layouts has existed for years. Developed by Steven Brenner (forum user theSteven). There is a link to it in his sig. It is called MenuMagic
