Where is the Trim on the mixer channels gone?

Finally decided to use my Sonar Pro and it is alot different to x3. Where is the trim tool, what happened to the synth rack?
I probably got alot more to ask that I dont know yet. Gee is this better then earlier versions?  Please fill me in!

Trim on the mixer: Open console view -> Console view menu -> Check of the modules you want to see/use
Synth rack: Open browser (B) press Alt+9 (I think)
