Back to work. A midi question
Lets finish the sadness for a while. So here a simple problem: I selected few midi notes in PRV and now want to reverse the selection so everything else is selected instead. Must be quite simple I guess ...
Windows 10/64, Intel i7 Xeon X6575 3,07GHz, 24Gb RAM, chipset: Intel X58 Express, Kingston SSD 240Gb, Sonar Platinum ∞, Edirol UA-25. ( Some extra VSTs: PSP almost all/ IK - AT4, ST3, / AAS - all/ TH3 full/ +10dB/ Melodyne Editor). EVE sc205 monitors, Defil Kosmos guitar, blue lava lamp, ashtray. And there is some great music you may find at: https://soundcloud.com/pawel-jan-1

I could have sworn that it used to be there before. I just checked on my laptop, and couldn't find it either. Sorry to be of no more help.

Thanks, it works ! I see it toggles the selected/unselected status of notes. But what if your track so big it is difficult to lasso all the midi notes?

To select all the notes in one key press, Select All (CTRL+A).

Well, in this case you can't do that. CTRL key have to be used together with Right Mouse. The point here is how to reverse selection in a large midi clip. Rogeriodec solution is very good but also kind of difficult to apply when midi clip is very very big.

Sorry - I should have added more detail ... I meant first select all the notes (CTRL+A) and then CTRL RightMouseButton drag over the notes you want deselected. That would leave you with all the notes selected except for the handful notes you RightMouseButton dragged over. Right? I just offered the CTRL+A as a quick method to get at all notes in a large track.

It the clip section is too big to lasso, split the clip in the midi track.

In case you want to select all track notes, Ctrl+A to select everything and then Ctrl+Right Click on the notes you want to deselect. If you want to select a large number of notes but not the entire track, decrease the horizontal and vertical zoom for a wider view, then select the desired range and proceed as in the previous case. Well, this, as in many other cases, is just a workaround. And now that Sonar is stopped, there are no other solutions in sight. Let us help each other.

This is easy. In the prv, if you already have some notes selected but want to invert the selection, just click & drag/sweep the virtual keyboard at the left of the the prv and hit the control key before you release the mouse during the drag/sweep

Excellent, exactly what I was looking for, THANKS. Perfect solution for long large dense midi clips. For microscopic reverse cases I will be using Rogeriodec tip, and just like he said lets stay here together.
