Sonar X3 Producer Automation Question?

When I am working with a track that has Vol. Automation, and I want to increase the Vol. at a certain point.  I add a node to bring vol. up just 2db's, do I have to do it by (shaky hand) or is there a more precise way via the keyboard to increase 1 db at a time?

    Right-click the node, bring up its properties and directly enter the value
