Consistant Crashing

So sad to hear the news but I'm glad you are all still here to help out.
 
My main rig just started having problems a couple days ago. I figured that it was due to an aging setup. That PC is 5 years old now. So I tried my Surface Pro 3 which I use as my mobile studio PC and it worked a little better but I soon was having crashes again. Then I tried my new Surface Laptop just for craps and giggles and I'm having crashes again. Where would I start troubleshooting? Could I have a bad session? I'm especially worried now that I have no support.

    Well I would suggest you look at the nature of what kinds of things you were doing at the point the crashes occurred, and provide any additional detail here, about that, and about any messages that show up.
     
    Additionally, I suggest you look at the Windows Event Viewer, to see if any Sonar crashes are occurring at the same time some Windows errors are logged.  Again, post any of that here - it might help to figure out what could be happening.
     
    Do you happen to be using ANY 32-bit plugins, in a 64-bit Sonar environment?  Particularly any 3rd-party 32-bit plugins.  These may be mostly gone from your system, but if you happen to be using one, and it is a little weak in its coding, it may well crash Sonar.
     
    Could there be a sample rate mismatch rate between the interface and Sonar?
     
    Any drivers out of date?
     
    Any recent system maintenance?  
     
    Any LACK of recent system maintenance?

    Try opening the project in Safe mode to eliminate any plug in issues
     
    Note: Safe mode is activated when you open a file while the SHIFT key is pressed.

    You guys always point me in the right direction. TH3 was causing the issue. I deleted it and added it back and so far so good. I just eliminated the plugins until I found which one was causing it. I never knew about safe mode either so that was what really enabled me to nail down the culprit.
