Very Interesting!

I just discovered Mixcraft 8 opens and plays Studio Devil's VGA+ ( nice little guitar amp ) which came with Sonar Home Studio 7XL. I could never get it to work in any other version of Sonar. When I asked its maker why, he said it was only intended for HS7 and isn't supposed to work anywhere else.
 
So why does it work in Mixcraft?
