Audio clip stretching in Matrix View

I've tried things like Forte (Brainspawn) for live work. And I should try Ableton Live but haven't. I use Sonar (Professional).
 
And in a repetative song I've used Matrix View. It worked OK with MIDI clilps but I can't get audio clips to work. No matter what settings I fiddle with the clip is stretched. It seems to think that all audio clips are for 120 bpm songs, even if I set the project to 75 bpm before making any audio clips.
 
Any insights please anyone? Or threads or in-depth tutorials I've missed? There's almost nothing on audio clips in the reference pages.

    As soon as I added the post a related thread popped up with the answer! It lead to a StreamworksAudio YouTube video - "SWA Complete Sonar X2 - Working with The Matrix" - that mentions a matrix view menu setting that automatically imports all audio clips as groove clips. When I turned that off and re-imported the audio clip, it played properly.
