trouble with AAS stuff

Hey folks.  I just purchased the Applied Acoustics complete thing.  It added Objeq Delay, Chromaphone 2, and Strum 2.  I already had Chromaphone 1.  Before this, all my AAS stuff was accessible.  After installing, they all show up in the list in Plugin Manager, but neither Chromaphone nor Strum show up anywhere in Sonar.  Strangely, the effect, Objeq Delay DOES show up.  Any thoughts?
 
Oh...it's version 23.8 of Sonar.

    Perhaps it is a folder thing. Rather than wasting time looking where AAS placed the files I would run installation again and carefuly note where the files are going. Then add this folder in: Preferences Vst folders.

    I noticed by default the AAS installs it's vsts in a different folder instead of the Cakewalk vst folder. It defaults to Programs Files Applied Acoustic Systems for the 64 bit install. Point Sonar there and add as an extra vst folder and rescan.

    AAS plug-ins usually appear in 3 folders one of which is the one you actually name.
    e.g.
    c:/program files/native instruments/vstplugins 64 bit/Chromaphone 2.dll
    c:/program files/steinberg/vstplugins/Applied Acoustics Systems/Chromaphone 2.dll
    c:/program files/steinberg/vstplugins/Chromaphone 2.dll
     
    There is a usefully tool vstinventory at http://forum.cakewalk.com/SONAR-Resources-and-Utilities-m3392713.aspx
    which is useful for tracking where SONAR sees plugins (you need the version that creates the csv file). I use it all the time to ensure updates go to the right place.

    I have been using the AAS plugins for ages and I agree with the others this sounds like a path issue.

    Thanks for the comments, folks.  I've tried pointing at the various directories that contain the AAS plugs.  When installing, I told it to go to my default directories (for many years I've put my vst directories under my cakewalk directory), and I do find the plugins there, but I also find them in the Applied Acoustics directory.  Re-installed to no effect.  I have several AAS plugins including Tassman 4. (Forgot to mention I've been using Cakewalk since 2004 and AAS since Tassman 2.)   Focusing on Strum GS-2, I deleted the entire "Program Files/Applied Acoustics Systems" directory and rescanned. Same result.  I restored that one, deleted the instances of Strum in my Cakewalk Vst directories, made sure I was pointing at the "Program Files/Applied Acoustics Systems" directory, and rescanned.  Same result.  Etc.
