How to add one vst that is not being read in the scan?

Hi there, I"m wondering if this can be done.  I accidentally deleted one of he kontakt vst's from the vst manager.  Usually Kontakt gives you 3 versions of its vst's, one with 8 outs, another with 16 outs and another with 64 outs.  Somehow, I managed to delete the 16 outs and doing re-scans doesn't see the plugin, even though its there along with the other two in the cakewalk vst plugins folder.  Is there any way to add just the one dll into the plugin manager without scanning, since scanning hasn't worked.  Barring that, if I use the 64 out version, is that going to create memory issues with Sonar.  Any info appreciated, thanks in advance.

Hi. In Preferences (P), File, Vst Settings, do a vst reset and re scan.
    All the best.

So, I tried it Ken, the process above didn't do it for whatever reason.  However, recently had I installed another program, not music related.  I usually create a restore point before installing any program, just in case of any problems.  I did the restore point, and there was the vst again, alive and well.  I reinstalled the program and everything is fine.  Don't ask me how I deleted the vst in the first place.  But at least it's solved now. This won't work for others unless you've created a restore point recently.  But it worked in this instance.  Thanks again for the help.
