Importing audio

It's easy enough to import a stereo audio file, but I have many tracks: 10 per song, all wav files that I need to import.
How do I choose all 10 tracks so they import into tracks 1-10...or whichever tracks I would need them to go into?
Thanks for any help.

Just select them all and drag them in, a track will/should be created for each.

So, you don't drag them to an already recorded track?
I would start by creating a new blank project?
Maybe that's where my issue has been.

Just select all the wavs and drag them in together, the tracks will be created, yeah start with a blank project if you like, you can drag to an existing project if you like, if it's whats required. But if you are creating a project from scratch with your files, blank is the way to go, or to your default template if you use one, whatever.

    I agree with above.
Just drag the wave files in to a blank project and the tracks will be auto created.

The things we get used to that Sonar does that other DAW's don't!
i tried this with Harrison Mix Bus and nothing happened, I had to create 8 blank tracks first, And then There was no way to do all 8, had to do one at a time and each track also eneded up out of time and on and on what a PITA. Oh and then it crashed..and I lost all my work,,, not impressed,, but oh well it was only $30.

Then Cubase which is supposed to be a midi leader, I tried draging a midi kick track to a instrument track that had Snare and hi hat already there, I got the kick but the snare and hi hat no longer play, had to use copy paste. SLoooowwww.

I'm sure someone who is proficiant at these programs could tell me what I did wrong but just saying how we get used to how many little easy tricks Sonar has. Millions probably.
