Midi grief when setting up Sonar on new machine

I have a new super machine and installed Sonar. I have a Tascam us4x4 interface for audio and midi. My Korg Kronos is attached both for audio and midi to the Tascam.

When I setup on the new machine I thought everything was OK. Sonar recognized my 4x4 from the start.  I thought everything was working, but I am having a midi problem. The sound from my Korg Kronos goes through the audio ports to record fine. I can record midi from playing on the Keyboard.

For my old setup, I turned off local control on the keyboard. Therefore when I played, the midi went into Sonar and then back to the keyboard because somehow I had set up Sonar to transmit the midi back making Sonar the master for my keyboard. On the new machine as I am setup, I can see that Sonar is not sending midi out to my keyboard. If I turn on local midi control on the keyboard, the keyboard sounds play, the audio gets transmitted to Sonar and the midi records on Sonar.

If I play back the recorded midi, I can see that the midi is not being transmitted from Sonar to the midi port. If it was being sent the Keyboard would play. If I turn off local control on the keyboard as I always have, the keyboard does not play because no midi is coming back from Sonar.

I've tried all kinds of settings in Sonar to get Sonar to be the master, but nothing seems to work.  Any ideas. I have my old machine, but it would take a great deal of trouble to reassemble it to see how it was working formerly.

Any ideas. I know I must turn off local control on my keyboard to allow Sonar to be the master, but I'm not sure of what the setup would be on the Sonar side.  Thanks from my deeply seated frustration.

OOPS ... Sorry the problem is something I would not have expected.  I have a midiman interface between my Tascam and various midi devices. For each port on the midiman there are switches. I usually set in one position to receive midi from the computer/Sonar and another that sends midi out from the keyboard. Some how in setting up the new machine I must have moved the midiman and for the Korg interface, I accidently moved the switch to the neutral position which means nothing is allowed through from the computer. Its correct setting which was to receive midi back from the computer/Sonar. Hard to believe this happened given the years that switch has not been touched.  Well only about 4 hours of grief from that one.
