Is the AKG a condenser mic?  If yes, make sure you have the phantom power turned on.  Also, in case there''s a problem with that mic pre, did you try plugging in to a different one?

Also, did you read the manual and follow the instructions for microphone setup?

You probably don't have the input gain set properly.
First make sure the AKG and the Cable works buy testing it with a PA.
Use a good quality XLR to XLR cable

Read the instruction manual, which hopefully you have a copy in your native language,  to set the gain level correctly. There is a PAD button which will be OUT. Sing until the LED turns red then back it off.
The interface also uses a SOftware mixer. make sure things are set correctly there.

I think what your saying is you can add reverb ( Deep) to your vocals and you hear it in your headphones but it does not end up being recorded?
This is normal as most DSP mixers have the option to not "Print"  the reberb to the recording. The  reverb is only into your headphones while singing. Most people do not want the reverb printed to the recording, they add the reverb later.
But read the manual and it will tell you how to Print the reverb to tape,, whoops I mean recording.

Most DAW's come with a good reverb plug in. Sonar has Breverb and if you have an older version the Lexicon which is what I still use.

The Impact Twin driver software includes the well-regarded TC Electronic M40 Studio reverb as a VST (which can be used in any DAW).  It's the same reverb they have in their monitoring module.
