Yeah well, Gibson shafted cakewalk and all there loyal users, watch this video...(2nd story)....they sound desperate for money if you ask me!!

    By their recent sell offs it reminds me of a receivership is on the horizen. Link not opening for me

    As for the video, it's nothing much.

    Basically Gibson are suing a toy company for, Gibson claim, using Gibson's trademark guitar shapes without Gibson's consent. No surprise really because if Gibson don't defend their trade-marks/copyright, under US law they can lose the trade-mark intellectual property rights completely which would have pretty severe consequences.

    The guy presenting the video doesn't seem at all informed about the law concerning trade mark violations and rapidly wanders off into irrelevant speculation.

    And yes, Gibson need all the money they can get. At least $520,000,000 by July to pay creditors, or a new/rescheduled credit arrangement to cover at least that amount.
