Reinstalling Platinum and Addictive Drums

hHen my computers Win 10 became corrupt I eventually needed to reinstall Sonar platinum. At first I was missing allot things but I still had access to my original files so I was able to restore pretty much everything I have noticed.
The exception is Addictive Drums, I went through the install process, registered, etc, but I don't have a way to create a tarck with addictive drums and that regardless of the layout preferences for soft synths.
I do see addictive drums listed as an possible audio effect, but that would not seem logical or  how I used/added it previously.

Is this a scan path issues?

Is this app a different type of application than is expected and needs some attention stepsAny help will be sincerely appreciated

I am able to run the program as a stand alone app

My first thought is that the path to Addictive Drums is not part of the VST scan paths or you need to force a new scan. Also, if you are using custom menus then you need to add the scanned VSTs to the correct custom menus.

    Good luck

You don't mention using CW Command Center.  While it's certainly not necessary, it's the easiest way to install and manage your CW products. (For now... There will come a time later when server activation won't be possible, but it's still working as of today).

Alternatively, XLN Audio has it's own install manager for Addictive Drums.  Are you using that?  (It will tell you if everything is installed and up to date).

Download and run the XLN Installer?

    https://www.xlnaudio.com/install

You have to register your computer.

AD2 will show and even load on an unauthorized computer and Sonar project, but it will be blank with no kit loaded.

And as said above, I would use Command Center.  Install it and run it.It will tell you what you have is up to date. This is important right now. You might be missing stuff you paid for.
