A New Instrumental Pugtones tune - "That Feeling You Get".

Hi All - it's been a while - hope you are all doing well.

Here's a new Pugtones tune - first one in a while. I played guitars and did the production, Warren Willingham played bass and we have a special guest Ron Bock who plays harmonica.

Hope you like this one.

Really nice end product, Mark!   You are getting that new Sonar down!

is that a single coil pickup on the guitar?  Couldnt tell.  The harmonica solo(s) are a little distant in the mix.  Toots thielman was always right in one's face so that's what I'm used to, but you may have desired it otherwise.  Your guitar playing is wonderful and I could definitely tilt back a frosty beer or two listening to you play.

What a lovely, lush sounding piece. Love the harmonica and where it's placed in the mix, reminds me a of film theme, but I can't remember which one. Guitar is simply beautiful.

Edit: It was the Midnight Cowboy theme I was thinking of

Warren, it's been a bit of work to get the work flow down on Sonar Professional - but I'm getting it.

eph221 - I used two different guitars. The middle solo is a es335 with humbuckers - the rest of it is a PRS with single-coil. Thanks for taking the time to listen - I'd love to knock down a frosty one with you.

Hi James - good to see you - means a lot coming from you - appreciate it.

A beautiful song my friend.  Ron and Warren's playing are great and as always I always admire your touch and phrasing on your guitar playing.  The mix also sounds great  -----  very "Clean".

    Brilliant work!!!

I normally dont like harmonicas,  but that was really soulful.  Great track,  great playing.  Loved the vibe.  Felt like a nice summer breeze.  :)

    Playing catch-up...

That was really nice.  The mix is nice and thick, the guitars are crystal clean (and so fluid) and the harp sounds great in this context.   Love the big space...
