Toontrack updates EZDrummer to 2.1.6

Toontrack has updated EZdrummer to v2.1.6. This release includes improvements and important fixes listed below. Note that EZdrummer 2.1.6 is required for EZX expansion packs released from this point forward (Q1 2018).
Improved in version 2.1.6:
  • MIDI library names are now sorted under each header in the Browser.
  • User presets are now sorted in the menu when scanned from disk (even with Apple File System).
  • User MIDI folders and song structures are now sorted when scanned from disk (even with Apple File System).
  • Menu entries "Rescan User Presets" and "Rescan User Kits" have been added to their respective menus.
Fixed in version 2.1.6:
  • Changing output channel in the mixer would sometimes crash when sample rate was not 44.1 kHz.
  • Trying to drag a file or move a slider or doing any other "drag operation" in the window no longer causes the window to be moved in GarageBand 6.
  • If you loaded a different EZX (or closed and opened the EZdrummer plug-in window) with the Song Creator open, the browser became too tall, its bottom part hidden behind the Song Creator.
  • On some macOS versions it was not possible to drag and drop MIDI from certain programs/plug-ins, for example Superior Drummer 3, to EZdrummer.
  • It could crash if you quickly clicked the "Preview Original Tempo" button after opening EZdrummer.

Thanks, I just got my Toontrack arsenal loaded on my new pc, now to go back and update this guy :)

For what's it's worth, I really liked the Toontrack Manager. I had never used it before but it was a breeze. Now I wish it would be a little more similar to IK and show me what I don't have. If I just toggle over to the Toontrack website, I have to bounce back and forth and compare. Maybe it's best to make a spreadsheet and a wishlist off of it...

I agree 100%. That's the only feature that the Manager lacks. I do the same (switch back and forth) so I don't buy the same stuff.

I am out of both Drum and Keyboard serial 6-packs, so the next time they release something I want, I'll have to reload on both.

SDX, EDX and EZK expansions are pricey. There's little chance I'll accidentally spend over $100 on something I already have. But I could spend less. And have. It is a real problem.

With Toontrack for me, I own basically all of the drum and keyboard MIDI packs that I'm interested in. I buy a 6-pack of serial numbers and pick up anything new that I want. I don't have any need to buy from within either SD3 or EZK.

The best prices I've found for the 6-pack of serials are:

Drums: https://www.thomann.de/gb/toontrack_drum_midi_6_pack_2.htm

Keys: https://www.thomann.de/gb/toontrack_ezkeys_midi_6_pack.htm

If someone knows of better prices, I'm all ears!
