Okay, sooo what's a User.kad file and why are they all of a sudden in my project folder(s)

Okay, sooo what's a User.kad file and why are they all of a sudden in my project folder(s)

Should I totally panic?
 
There have been some strange things happening as well but really I just want to know what those little .kad boogers are.
 
I have not been a fan of random boogers since I was about 6 or so and these files are feeling very "random boogery"...
 
thus my dilemma.

    .kad files are something to do with Native Instruments.
