    Sharke do you ever get up to STockbridge Mass?  I used to live there.  I actually lived in Norman Rockwell's studio (only $550 per month if I recall);  that big picture window above the store.

    Ha Massachusetts is like the other side of the world in my insular NYC existence.....haven't been for years, not since I lived on Nantucket!

    I lived in Harvard Square in 1984, slept in Longfellow Park most nights.  Some woman put me up for a couple nights in her Chelsea apt, in trade for.... um... a couple guitar lessons.   Ah the good ol' days of homelessness.

    I always give money to pan handlers.  I figure if they gotz the nerve to be spit upon by the hoi polloi, they're very courageous.  And they need money.  Portland has a huge homeless population.
