Ordering devices in Asio4all

Does anyone know how Asio4all orders the Audio devices and if it is possible to rearrange this order?

At first I thought it was the sequence that the devices were switched on but that does not seem to be the case..........in fact it seems quite arbitrary?

Problem with assigning tracks inputs in DAW:
 
It seems every time I get every track assigned to the right inputs and then open again with one of the devices disconnected it reassigns all the previous assigns (and deletes "user names" in Ableton 10!!
Which is a real pain!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm using ASIO4ALL driver
Audio Devices:

1) Behringer Xenyx UFX1204 mixer -12 inputs
2) Roland TD50 EDrum module - 9 inputs
3) DuoCapture EX - 2 inputs
4) Zoom G2.1 Nu guitar effect peddle -1 input
5) Zoom R8 interface controler (A/D converter) - 2 input
 
I can get them all working together, but I need a consistent way of keeping the order in Asio4all so I can control the assignment order in the DAW.

Why are you even using it at all?

The only problem I have with Asio4All is with recording.
While that's very important on some projects that is only 10% or less of the work involved.
 
Asio4All benefits

• It's portable - i.e. I don't have to carry additional hardware when I'm on the road.
• It works well (at least for me and many others) for playback, mixing, etc.

So while commuting I can arrange, edit, mix, decide between alternate takes, etc.
When I get back in my studio I'm using ASIO with a hardware interface.
 
I'm not saying that Asio4All is the only tool/interface you should be using
BUT If you're working on a laptop it's an indispensable tool.
 
In regards to the OP and the context of this thread...
Sorry can't help you.  Personally I've always found non-Asio devices too laggy to use on my systems.
If you can get them work and/or work simultaneously via Asio4All that certainly opens up a variety of possibilities.

The OP never answered my question in the other thread. 
 
That question is- Why do you need all those devices at the same time?
If it is just to record a live band then WDM mode would work. 
 
If there is any overdubbing involved your really don't what to be anywhere but with a good ASIO driver. And that is not asio4all. Asio4all is actually using WDM mode.  It is a brilliant solution for playback and working on the road editing,, it is not a solution to replace ASIO when recording overdubs as your tracks will most likely be out of sync. 
 
So please? what and how are you planning on using all those inputs for?
