Anyone using Hybrid 3 Synthesizer? How to control tempo?

I’m trying to figure out how to manipulate the tempo of the ton of presets that come with this.

I have a project in which sonar reads the tempo as 160 BPM. So, Hybrid is syncing to the tempo, and it’s way too fast. What I need to do is cut the tempo at which hybrid is playing in half so that it’s 80 BPM. For example, the guitar VSTi Strum GS has a prominent switch on the GUI that allows selection of 1/2x, 1x and 2x the DAW tempo. Anyone know if that’s possible in Hybrid?

Thanks.

Not sure if this works, just a thought. Try changing Sonars's time signature values... example- 4/4 to 2/4

Hmmm. Interesting. I’ll give it a shot when I’m back in the project. Thanks.

I spent some time RTFM. The only sync control possible is with the LFOs. LFOs 1 & 2 (mono) have additional syncing choices that LFO 3 (poly) does not have. Check the manual.

Yeah, I RTFM too, but nothing clicked with me. Synths are a whole new world. I saw the word "sync" mentioned in the manual and saw it on the GUI, but haven't had much luck so far getting it to do what I'm trying to do. Thus, my post. At least now I know that if it's gonna happen, I have to go through the LFO settings. Best...

Let me know how you make out with the Note+Tempo and Beat+Tempo settings and the slider below the settings dropdown.

Took a bit to work this one out... it seems a bit buggy to me, but here goes:

Go to the SEQ tab, then click on the LINK SEQ button on the top right of the settings pane.

With that enabled, when you move the RATE from 1/8 to 1/4 for example, the tempo halves.

So, that was an interesting thought, but didn’t work.
