Bandcamp Now

Hello friends,

I just started a bandcamp website.  The stream appears to be lossless which is great.  Here's the quintet streamed at higher fidelity.  Let me know if they try to charge you for it.  I'm not sure how that works.

Man that was awesome Dave! I'm not sure the title fits the tune, but what a great tune!

Nice to see your face too. You could be David Hewlett's stunt double.

The sound quality is very good.  The marimbas knocked me out!  Seriously, your use of creative dissonance is in the spotlight, here.  Your training is showing ;)

    David,
Sounds very good to me. I like the orchestration you did.
Reminds me of Fingal's Cave in places.

This is a really good composition. It would sound awesome in an auditorium with a 30-40 piece orchestra!

    Bjorn,

I know what you mean!  I based that motif on the 1st cello suite.  Question is:  did Mendelssohn use that  with Fingal's Cave?  The first cello suite is probably one of my favorites.  I learned it on the classical guitar and played it in concerts.  Thanks for your listening!

thanks for the good review.  A lot of people say I look like Stewart Copeland from the Police.  I haven't a clue what they mean. :D

    Jesse,

I just had my reverb on the masterbus. I use a touch of Valhalla shimmer, a very small amount. Olivier said he didn't like.  It does kind of sound like an empty auditorium.  Who wants that!😘

I love the cello on anything.  It is a pleasant string tune.  They didn't try to charge anything to listen.  That's good, right?
