The only part of account migration from Cakewalk to BandLab you can perform is create a BandLab account with the same e-mail address as your old Cakewalk account.

Just sign up at BandLab https://www.bandlab.com using the same email address used in your previous Cakewalk account.

Then What? All that I can find on Bandlab site after I sign in is links to their online looper software. Is there something to download and install?

They did not provide a timeline for completion of the transition or what it will look like when it is done. If the past is any indication, they will provide more information when they can.

Thanks. I have a full cakewalk Sonar Platinum unlimited. And most instruments. When logging into the bandlab environment i could not find those additional things. So thanks for pointing out the total migration is not yet completed.

I’ll keep the current version then. So i don’t run into loozing some of my instruments

BandLab Cakewalk does not include most of the SONAR Platinum plug-ins (inc. instruments). If these are installed using SONAR and not in the default VST folders make sure to add the folders to Cakewalk VST Setup in Preferences. Also check the rest of the preferences and copy plug-in layouts, templates etc. This is an install of a new product not just an update to SONAR 2017.10.

I think there might be some confusion with the talk of Bandlab's version of Cakewalk being available.  This is the free version and has nothing to do with the migration of your account at the moment.

For the free version (You don't need this if you already have SPlat installed), go here where it says "Get Early Access" and download the Bandlab Assistant.
