So how will be in lab make a profit from this move?

I'm just curious. I'm happy as a clam that our friends in Singapore have kept Cakewalk alive but as a free application I'm wondering how they will turn that into a revenue stream? I'm always more than happy to pay for anything I use. Do you suppose they'll be developing new add-ons or features or services or plugins that can be purchased at a premium?
