QL Spaces doesn't show up in Sonar...

How come ?? This is a $199 reverb unit, you'd think it would work with no headaches.

Assuming a scan has run since its installation and you are not using a custom layout
Verify the plug-in is in the scan path
Check the excluded list in the Plug-in manager
If it is in the excluded list run a manual scan with the "Recan Failed Plug-ins" option enabled. When the scan completes turn of the option.

It might be listed with an unexpected name. The "Sort by Manufacturer" layout may help in that case.

Maybe a scan log will help

To create a scan log - hold the SHIFT key while clicking the scan button. A toast message should appear advising a log is created.

I've had problems like this with various vsts, Spaces among them. Eventually after enough moving stuff around I was able to get them all picked up. However, when I installed CbB, it picked everything up. So if you're not running CbB, installing it may solve your problem. (You didn't mention what version you're running).
