Just published my first CB song into the BandLab ecosystem, the experience.

Here it is for those interested : https://www.bandlab.com/irelevant/new-project-ddcfb

About the experience :

This is the first song finalized in CB (or CbB) that I put from the DAW via BA into the BL ecosystem.
I used the BandLab online mastering option for clarity once the song was uploaded, satisfied with result of it.
I had some problems getting the BL online mastering finalize, it was taking forever to finish ... and refreshing didn't
help. I'm uncertain if it had to do with that I first uploaded a *.wav file, before I later switched to *.mp3.
At the end it's not clear to me as to what type of file i actually have uploaded.

What I immediately miss after having gone through this process is following :

1. Stem export directly from CB (CbB) to a BL project, or via BA ... not just "upload".
2. Some ability to edit the *.wav *.mp3 tags, for songtitle, author, copyright etc.
3. To easily see what type of file is used in the project.
4. Some ETA on processing. Not just the message "Processing in progress. Check back later!".
5. Polishing of BA\Library\Update Project Settings\Project URL. I was having a hard time making my own
custom link. It chronically did not accept any name I came up with. So I had to settle for default.

I'm sorry I have a messy brain, and my post is sketchy ... but just thought to post some feedback anyway.

- Sven

PS. I'm having some problem posting on the forum, my post just goes into a void ... this is 2nd try.

PPS. To the moderator, the main issue here was not to push my song ... but the experience. Never mind.

Have you seen a possibility to put some Lyrics in your BL project? I missed that one...

I see there in the Mix Editor, there is an option for Lyrics/Notes a little bit below the upper right corner.
Don't know if it was this you where thinking about ?

Very trippy! Love the offbeat snare. The bass line was very good too. I like it!

I just published a new revision, worked a little bit more on the Mixing and Mastering Part of the song.
Also used a *.wav file as basis, with BandLab's online mastering "Clarity" option on top of my own work.
Happy to hear any comments, sitting with a bit of a feeling that I "over did it" now the day after. Sounds maybe a bit to polished, and smooth. Lost maybe some rawness.

I hate classifications, and the initial idea was for this to be a Jazzy tune ... but as it is ... I don't know ... what do you people think would be an accurate classification of it be ?
