TC Helicon Voice Live Three Causes unusual issue

When I am using the TC Helicon VL3 the USB is working fine for recording.  However if I change harmony settings the play head starts and just keeps moving.  If I hit Play it will slow down to the tempo I have it set at, however if I push stop it will just keep on going. It is almost like it is sending a continuous controller message to play.
