How do I embed image in my posts?

How do I embed image in my posts?

I'm sure I've done this before, but right now I haven't managed it.

I post links to my images via dropbox, but can't find a way to embed...

Can someone please advise me?

    I don't know how to do it either, Keni.  I opened a Flickr account to allow folks to look and "save image as" on this address:

    Upload your photo to a hosting site like Imgur. Copy the direct link for the image and paste it into the 'insert image' box in your post.

    Direct link works and so does BBCode. The difference is instead of using the "Insert/Edit image" function in the forum message editor, when using BBCode after copying from imgur paste the string into the body of the message. BBCode contains the [img] tags the "Insert/Edit image" function adds.

    That's what I thought...
     
    I tried doing this previously and figured I'd try again as maybe I did/not something necessary.
     
    I get a little box, but no image.
     
    Maybe it has to do with dropbox links? It seems these days people are forced to access dropbox with their own dropbox account to see thing...?
