midi editor issue

Hi all,

There is something really annoying and dangerous for my midi track : sometimes when i edit a midi note, it edits the same notes in different bars. How to avoid selecting same notes please when selecting a note in the midi editor ?

Maybe you have the midi as a groove clip?

If it is a rolled out Groove Clip, split the clips to edit them individually.
If these are Linked Clips follow the instructions on how to unlink them.

The thing that happens to me in PRV is when working on a single note, somehow all of those notes in the clip will become "selected" - You will know when they are selected because they take on a darker hue of whatever color they are initially. If you don't notice this and move the note or make some change, multiple notes may be affected.

Clicking a key in the keyboard at the left of the PRV (or a drum name in the drum pane) will select all notes on that note number.

might be a take lane thingy with several midi clips on top of each other? (Select the track and hit shft+t to expand the take lanes for better viewing)

Or linked clips as it got mentioned above...
