Is there a way to use 32-bit DX/DXi plug-ins in CbB ?

I'm thinking direct and native, not using things like VST work arounds like DXShell etc.
Yes, I'm using 20 year old DX plugs ...  they are CPU efficient ... and works well for me.

OS:Win7x64 SP1 CPU:i5/8GB/SSD DAWs : CbB, FLS, SO2, (Reaper) etc. To much Gear, not enough wires.

No, 64 bit Sonar and Cakewalk by Bandlab don't support Direct X plugins at all.  In a previous post, I've asked them to look into porting the RGC Enhancer direct X plugin to 64 bit VST.  They said they'd look into it.  If they did, it would make my life drastically easier.

There are a few really good 32-bit DX effects that I still like to use occasionally.  Here's my workaround.  I have a separate 32-bit installation of SONAR to which I export the CbB audio track I want to effect, apply the DX effect, then re-export the effected back into 64-bit CbB.

I don't use DXi's.

This is not true. CbB includes the Sonitus Suite 64bit DX effects and TTS-1 a 64bit DXi among others. 64bit SONAR had many more. DX plug-ins are host specific, 64bit plug-ins for 64bit hosts and 32bit plug-ins for 32bit hosts.

I tried something called FX Teleport FFX4 which is a DXI/VST wrapper but honestly it creates more issues than it solves. If anyone gets it to work properly please let us know!
