BandLab Mix Editor

Hi,

I don't seem to be able to use the mix editor, it loads but doesn't do anything, I can use a loop pack, take a piece of udio put it in a track, but when I hit the start, nothing, it won't even preview a piece of audio in a loop pack, any suggestions ?

Thanks
John

A couple of suggestions:

1. Make sure you're using Google Chrome as other browsers have limited support.
2. If you're using Cakewalk at the same time as the BandLab mix editor, then Cakewalk could be hogging the audio driver.
Within Preferences->Audio->Playback & Recording, either:
(i) Set your Audio Driver to WASAPI Shared (assuming you're NOT using ASIO) or;
(ii) Check the "Suspend Audio Engine When Cakewalk is not in focus"

Either that or make sure you're not using Cakewalk at the same time as the BandLab Editor.

I have had similar symptoms where for some reason Chrome cannot access the audio device.
Are you running any other audio apps? Also check that chrome can stream audio from another web page.
Which device do you have Windows set to as your default playback device?
If you still have problems report back.
