I think what you have here has a lot of potential. In the hands of the Red Hot Chili Peppers this could be rearranged a little and made into a hit.

The guitar, though, sounds a bit out of tune. Also what I think you're using for a chorus could be better used as a bridge. You need to kick the energy up with some big major chord progression on the chorus with those harmonies.

This is one of the catchier and less predictable tunes I've heard on here in the short week I've been browsing, though.

    Hey Artyboy,

Thanks for the reply (thought i was going to get the Big "Doughnut!")

Anyway, you gave me some new things to think about:

The guitar IS probably out of tune because it's not very stable. Can you tell me which one (main guitar/2nd rythme/lead at end... or maybe the Bass Guitar?)

It's interesting you see the chorus as a bridge. This is a bit of an older song by now so i can't see changing the arrangement myself. Maybe in the hands of someone else they could do something (like you said.)

Thanks for the props! I appreciate it.

    I kind of like this...

The vocals need a little work as you float in places (but I like your tone), and the drums seem way too programmed.

That being said, I kind of like the guitar tone and the song is well written in structure and has a good melody. I think artboy has it right...lots of potential.

    Thanks...

As long as there is potential.
I never had a good guitar tone. Maybe you could hear what i was trying to do.

    Thanks.

Sorta has a Christopher Cross think going (i think that was him name) feel.
um the song that goes "Get into a car...and drive, to the other side." Was it called Stepping Out? The vocals kinda remind me of that guy in places.
