Routing for Headphones?

I've picked up a great set of headphones and headphone amp.  My audio interface is a MOTU 828mk II.  I don't want to use the headphone out on the MOTU but would like to route to analog out 1 and 2 on the MOTU.  What's the best way to route the Master to the Main Out AND also to the MOTU's analog out 1 and 2?

RAWK!!!

Assuming you're using a master bus channel routed to MAIN, just add a send from that master bus channel to analog out 1&2. Make sure you've enabled analog out 1&2 in the audio configuration so it shows up in the console's outputs section. You might want to change its 'friendly' name to "Phones' so you know what you've got hooked up there. It's fairly straightforward. I use MOTU interfaces and have no problems with the phones output, though.

    Thanks for the input.

Actually, I’m am routing using a send as you suggest. I just wanted to get other options on how other people would set this up.

I have a high-end headphone amp and the phones are 300 ohms running over 50’ cables. The MOTU phones jack is not an option.
