effects menu

hello all,
had a question, in the audio effects menu, is there a way i can refresh any of the plugins i have there ?? so i can load up some presets that came with some of the vst plugins?
(example ) in studio one i can right click any plugin and click refresh and automatically the presets are copied and loaded, and i can start using them right away as a start point)
But In sonar platinum and Cakewalk by bandlab I can not do this < It does nothing, is there a way i can get this feature to work?

I don't think I understand what you mean. Presets are copied from where and get loaded where - added in the plugins preset list? Do you mean (automatic) updates from manufacturer?
Why couldn't you load any presets that came with the VSTs anytime using the VSTs preset window?

SONAR PE 8.5.3, Asus P5B, 2,4 Ghz Dual Core, 4 Gb RAM, GF 7300, EMU 1820, Bluetube Pre  -  Kontakt4, Ozone, Addictive Drums, PSP Mixpack2, Melda Creative Pack, Melodyne Plugin etc.

I agree. Surely if your plugin doesn't come with "some presets that came with some of the vst plugins" then surely it's not installed properly yes? All presets should already be immediately available once it's been installed.

I think he may mean dragging in presets after Sonar is open, then refreshing the view so the presets show up.
