(SOLVED...but odd) Melodyne - No Sound Clicking on Blobs: Return of this pest !!!

I've got this again, no sound when touching a blob!
I checked the old threads.  Toggling the track Input Echo button doesn't work. The only way I can get the sound back is to switch off Sonar's global FX button.  But I have NEVER had to do this before!   Something has changed somewhere. Hrmph.
I've got Melodyne Editor 4.

Ok, after fiddling about, the toggle on the global FX button has reversed itself.  It was lit before and my effects were all on, and no blob sounds.  Now it's not lit and my FX are all on, and blob sounds are back.

This happens because when you globally bypass FX internally the clip effects bin is also bypassed.
Since the clip effects bin is where region effects live it stops audio output as well.
I understand that this may seem unexpected. I'll see what I can do but the complication is that you can also have other normal effects alongside region effects. In the latter case you would expect the bypass state to be respected so this creates some complications.

Good news, I managed to fix it! Global FX bypass will no longer bypass a region effect as long as there are no other Clip effects in play for that clip. I also fixed some other bugs with the UI for clip effects bins and global bypass.
This will be in the next update.

Thank you Noel!  I might be forced to move up to CbB.  Still waiting for the Take Lanes editing bugs to be fixed.

I've got 'No Blobs' w/Melodyne Editor.  Suspect Windows Update caused that.  No troubles last week.  There was an error message, but I didn't write it down.

(And now LP MB isn't authorized, so I'm here looking for that remedy too.)

I have had a problem before in another DAW with Melodyne Editor blobs not sounding. I managed to fix that by basically saving as new project. Not had the problem in Sonar or Cake. It's great to hear that Noel is on it like a car bonnet! :)

Splat, Win 10 64bit and all sorts of musical odds and sods collected over the years, but still missing a lot of my old analogue stuff I sold off years ago.

Wow, thanks Noel! That's amazing customer service!
Special thanks for allaying my nagging fear that I was quietly going mad...
