Clicked on something !!

My 5:00 minute tracks are two inches long in the track view, been doing this since 2004, what did I mess in the track view? Thanks for the help crew! Rick

Not quite clear on what you are asking, but if you mean that long clips are now very short, does the whole song still play to the end or get cut off?

If you go to the edit menu and hover over undo, it should tell you the last action you did. That may give a clue. Are you sure you haven't just zoomed right out?

I think you clicked "Fit Project To Window" somehow.

Thanks guys, you pointed me in the right direction. The song does play all the way thru, the undo is grayed out and the tracks are zoomed down to two inches. I can zoom them back out, but my last four projects are starting out zoomed down. This started after a Microsoft update, wouldn't be the first update to mess with my system! When I get the time I will check preferences and see if something has changed. Any other ideas fell free to throw out a lifeline.
    Thanks, Rick

Not sure,, but a Screenset or Lens setting changed?
try setting it the way you like and save the Lens.

That's why I never allow Windows Updates on my music PC.

Loaded an earlier track normal and the same two inches are 6 seconds in the ruler and now 4-6 minutes on the new ones, I can zoom out but it does not give me the option to save when I zoom out … checked preferences all good, thanks CM I will look into it this weekend, JB58, had to buy my wife a laptop do I need to explain... still need to be hooked to the big I!
    Thanks , Rick

I think the only way to save a default zoom is to create a new lens with that zoom setting. Maybe it changed because you accidentally changed the lens?
