Automation issue w/ Acustica CREAM

I'm having a problem using Acustica's Cream Channel Strip plugin in either CbB or Plat..

Cream's output trim automation is being recorded even when Write Automation is set to 'off'. I'll then use 'Delete Entire Envelope' but the envelope gets written again when using the transport, even without touching the trim-out slider in the plugin again.
It only records the automation the first time I adjust Cream's trim out- 2 nodes at the beginning & end of the project (It does function normally using Write On / Read On.)

I don't recall this ever happening. I'm guessing it's due to Acustica's coding so I'm submitting a support ticket there as well.
Has this happened to anyone else with this or using another mfg's plugin?
