Can I revert back to my old SONAR installation?

As the title says, just wondering if it's possible to reinstall SONAR Artist, perhaps in a different folder from CbB?

I have my reasons for doing so, just don't want to try if it won't get me anywhere.

DAW: Cakewalk by Bandlab (latest version) - x64
VST: Roland Sound Canvas VA
Hardware: Roland MC50mkII Sequencer; Yamaha DGX-660 keyboard; Steinberg UR-44 Interface
OS: Windows 10 Home 64-bit

Sign into your account and use Command Center to download and install.  Command Center keeps track of serial numbers so using this install method you will not have to worry about serial numbers.

If you have older stuff that doesn't need Command Center you can download from the account page.  Use the PrntScr (print screen) key to take a screenshot of your account page with all the serial numbers.

Sonar and Cakewalk by BandLab co-exist side by side so your Sonar install is independent of the Cakewalk install.

CbB started out by installing in a different place than all previous SONAR location.

They do share common utils though.

Where is the Bandlab Assistant download folder?

Some say installing older versions after the fact can cause issues with your latest versions. But I found I had no problem installing Home Studio after I had installed CbB.  Everything seems to work just fine in both versions.

Yes. Bandlab dudes, ask 1st before deleting the current installation image so we can revert in an emergency. An update that botches something is an emergency and we all learned how to go to the CCC downloads folder and install the previous over the problem.

A DAW is not a toy app in a phone. Professional (and Pet) projects are in play. Show more care for the installed base please.
