Sonar Platinum Mouse problem

Long time Sonar user. Not sure what happened. My mouse doesn't work for play or stop. I have to use the space bar. However, I can fast forward but not backward. Also, I can't unsnap anything. If I click to unsnap, it does nothing. Anyone else having this problem? I've never encountered this and I've been using Cakewalk since day one of the original sequencing program. Also, it is doing weird things when I try to click and drag the volume or pan when I am in track mode. I hope this all makes sense. I've run a couple virus scans but no luck yet.

Thanks!
Tim

Tim, have you tried Cakewalk by Bandlab yet? If your computer receives windows automatic updates, it will become more and more incompatible with Platinum with time.
While Cakewalk by Bandlab is constantly being updated for bugs and compatibility.
It doesn't cost anything to try. I'd suggest you try it and see if you have the same problem with the supported software.
Even if it didn't work, you could get a support ticket to get the issue resolved that way.

I'm a Sonar Platinum guy now using the new Cakewalk and I'm finding it crashes far less and is way more stable.

If you do try it, just make sure you use the email you used when you originally purchased Platinum, so you can get the free crossgrade when it comes out.
You can sign up for free here:
https://www.bandlab.com/sign-up

And download Cakewalk here:
https://www.bandlab.com/download/assistant/windows
It requires 64-bit Windows though.

Scook, thanks. That solved the problem.

Daibhidh, I signed into the cakewalk website with my usual email and password. I'm assuming I'll get the free crossgrade. I got the program up and running and it seems to work fine. Thanks for the info.
