Bandlab just hangs, task mngr only way to shut it down

Yeah after latest update the app opens and says update available.
Pressed update and now when I startup it just hangs greyed out with a slight icon action but nothing changes
and can only be closed with task manager.
Help appreciated
Cheers

Magic: when you feel inspired to create which in turn inspires more creation.

And the corollary: if magic happens inspiration might flog it to death with numerous retakes.

Reboot. Then Uninstall it. Then go to the website and reinstall it from there.

Are you talking about the Bandlab app or Cakewalk by Bandlab DAW?
You should have the "Cakewalk.exe" installation files in your "Downloads" folder

Strange things happen with Bandlab if I don't use Chrome browser.
And strange things happen with my entire computer system and network using Chrome as "default browser".
I really wish there was a way to choose to force the Bandlab Assistant to open in Chrome other than making Chrome the "default browser".

I need to use Edge as default browser for networking, security, receiving updates, not just from Microsoft but many 3rd party software updates and being so tightly integrated with Windows 10 there is no way to remove it.
And I don't want to remove it anyway, I've really grown to like it more and more, even on my Android Samsung Galaxy it's much faster browsing and has much more useful tools integrating and sharing through my network.

And perhaps you do too??
