Squarespace music site

Hi... I discovered that Squarespace offers some very cool templates for musicians. Hope some readers might check this out. My first go at including some covers with my own work (acoustic/ fingerpicking style), but recorded brief tracks of those, for preview/ gig audition. My opinion is, coffee house managers dont have time to sit and listen to full lenght songs. Background video from site content.

Charles, nice site! I like the simplicity. Plus the music is pretty ****in'. Prelude to a long day mixes some cool tones together.

Does squarespace limit the amount you can store or stream? Is that the impetus for the snippets?

No Tom. Squarespace can host your music, and it is in fact an excellent web 2.0 or web hosting site. The only limit in regards to Squarespace and music hosting is the 10 meg file size. I've used Squarespace since 2015, and highly recommend the site if you want an on-line presence. The only problem I have with Squarespace is the lack of video hosting, because these days I tend to focus on creating a full A/V 'experience'. Sound only doesn't cut it - even for amateurs and Youfool just decimates my A/V prices sometimes.

Ben did a nice job of covering your questions, Tom. On snippets, two fold..I got kind of lazy, but wanted to get several on there, plus what venue staff as an " audition/ demo" is going to listen to full length  tracks! Just wanted to get my basic style across. My originals are all full lenght  anyway from a while back, and did not bother to cut down into snippets.
