My Culinary Skills and Amputation

My son designed and built a wonderful kitchen for our house which I posted a picture of a while back. I've been spending considerable time studying and practicing my culinary skills and have come up with some very tasty meals of which some were posted.
HOWEVER, there was a lurking danger that was unforeseen and I didn't consider. And that is me with knives, very sharp ones, cutting up many things. Unfortunately one of those things was again one of my fingers. I was chopping turkey and I know some of you will say "That's what you get for chopping turkey" but it comes with the territory. My finger is in a splint and double bandaged but this may be another sign my playing days are numbered! A dilemma of ribs wrapped in Becan or playing and recording with my precious DAW. Eventually it is inevitably feasible that one will have go out of my capability most likely guitar playing judging from the way I sling a knife!

Bayou,
Please tell me the third finger is curled up under the photo.
Ultimately it is the talent and inspiration of the composer/player. Who the hell was it, Beethoven who evolved incredible works while completely deaf.
If you got the vision, one finger will outplay someone with six fingers on their hand but with no connection to the angels. As long as you still got the vision, you can get your toes involved if you even need that. Couple missing digits can be compensated for. Looks like your index will heal up getting you back in the game soon. Rock on dear brother.
