in some incomprehensible way
I must come to the fires of my affliction
Shrouded in the mystery I resolve
not to stray from the channel of the truth

you may say that you are not of my ilk
you may say I have no grounds for my complaint
in no small way I'm responsible for
this lamentable
situation
that I'm in

bring on the rain
wash away my pain

I must admit I'm not indifferent to
finding myself cloaked in the mystery
It's time for me to come to the scratch and
admit there's very little wheat in the chafe

you may say that you are not of my ilk
you may say I have no grounds for my complaint
in no small way I'm responsible for
this lamentable
situation
that I'm in

bring on the rain
wash away my pain

Hoodwinked by chicanery as I strolled through the fields
pleasured by your delights
Fair words you stole my heart away
now I stand
naked
to my enemies

you may say that you are not of my ilk
you may say I have no grounds for my complaint
in no small way I'm responsible for
this lamentable
situation
that I'm in

bring on the rain
wash away my pai

Frankly, I dig this tune. You remind me a bit of early Zappa. There are a lot of crazy sounds going on here - strangely they fit well together - IMHO. Dig what you are saying here too - cool lyrics.

I couldn't get it to play. But based on the lyrics I must tell Jesse, if you think this is bad wait till it's a COMPLETE mystery. Carry on Willis.

The groove reminds me of of Captain Beefheart, while the voice is definitely J Screed.

Gnarly stuff, but I like it, although its not exactly good time music.

It's like Frank Zappa and Yoko Ono had a baby who grew up to study the music of Charles Ives and John Cage. Consider me mystified. I thought the ending was really cool.
