Three short songs.

Unfortunately my quintet ended up sounding like three different performances in three different halls.

I thought they were all pretty well done Dave. One thing you might consider is maybe cutting back some of the automatic tremolo on some of those synth sounds, unless you can't.

    Hi Wayfarer!

Do you mean the vibrato?  I agree.  The last song  it's not possible, they were recorded that way.  I agree there's way too much vibrato on those samples.  It doesn't sound natural.  These were done just for composition.  I'd have real people play them.

very cool David. Who would be playing the pieces?

Glad you enjoyed ARLEN.  DARYL,  I write all my music for it to be played  live by people.  I just have to make the arrangements.  Glad you're curious.

A very pleasant listening experience - I liked the melodies of all three pieces.  I didn't think the vibrato was all that bad.

Love your work David, please, lets hear a rather longer piece as I always feel there should be a little more to loose myself in.
    Best regards Steve

Is it a tad strident? I feel like it's a bit sharp around 5khz or something? But they are kind of like almost confrontational kind of aggressive pieces, so maybe that's what you want from them in terms of high frequency bite.

Yes,  I know what you mean.  I need to rethink the eq.  Thanks for taking the time to listen!

    Hey that was cool...
Kind of the old times cinematic classical scores.
Made me imagine a silent movie with the score supplementing the scenes

We used to have a pizza parlour here called *the organ grinder* and it's gimmick was this magnificent organ (one of the organists was my music teacher's husband) that played music to old black and whites.  It was really cool.  I understand what you mean by the accompaniment type of sound.  Glad you took the time to listen to it!  You're very gracious.  Bless you!  Thank you again.
