HEY TOM! thanks for checking this one out, it's one of my most fun ones to track ( cuz it was easy, and i didn't have to sing! LOL ) i used this, for all the guitar tracks: vintage white USACG build, alder body, maple neck, pau ferro fretboard, gibson scale length, lawrence pickups, hipshot bridge, sperzel lockers, master vol/master tone with lawrence "Q" filter on it.

ALRIGHT BEAGLE! thanks for listening to this one, it's one of my favorites! yep, cymbals sizzlin, it needed that to drive the rhythm. eph221 love this groove. You got it all, man.
thanks eph..... the rhythm groove was pretty cool on it's own, but playing the bass line in the pocket was the key element. i think guitars AND bass is all backbeat.

Aaaaah -- perfection!!!! As usual Bats, your playing, performance, recording, etc. are outstanding. I've got a Stat also but I can't make mine sound like yours. Oh ya -- it might not be the guitar but the man behind it ;>)

HEY FREDDY! thanks for the kind comments...... strats are weird, you know.. they all have their own thing going on.... and it's easy to tweak the pieces parts to give you what you want, besides the way you play it.... this one has bill lawrence Wilde pickups in it, which i love. some of these tracks were done with a peavey jsx mini collossal 5 watt tube amp with a filtered cabinet line level out on it, a great sounding amp, it was a loaner. i'd like to have it back!
