"Over My Shoulder"-Original song & video -For my parents
The two fine people you see pictured on the page of this song are my late mother and father. I lost my Mom in October 2015 and my Dad just this past Valentines Day (a hell of a day to lose somebody you love so dearly, but it happens, I guess). Dad was 88 when he passed and Mom was 82 (I think). I worked very hard on this tune because I wanted it to be as perfect as I could get it for them and didn't want it to sound like a joke (like most of my stuff sounds like). I hope you're moved by it even with all the flaws. Sorry to hear about your mum and dad. Family is the greatest thing we have. 88 and 82 are fine ages to live to. We all should be so lucky.
It's a lovely piece. I hope making it brought lots of happy memories of your mum and dad.
