Interstate 30 - I 30

New song about the 60s out and about round I 30. Did the vocal with Cakewalk by Bandlab the rest with FL Studio 20. Would appreciate any feedback. Thanks.

Love the lyrics and the vocal suits the song so well, the one thing is the break @ around 2.00 seems a bit off beat, that said it does come back quick but it distracted me form the lazy rock vib of the guitar ...  most probably me though ...
Good song and I enjoyed the video.

I would never say anything bad about a fellow Tele player because it's my considered opinion that more people have been beaten to death with Telecasters than any other instrument.

It was a fun song and a nice video.

Great vocal that fits the song perfectly. Guitar chops, check. You most likely noticed the sync issues when the video shows you playing lead, particularly in the first half of the vid. Not sure how much you wanna fix there.

It was an entertaining vid overall . . . A family cameo perhaps?😉

Hey, this is neat!!  Love it. Great tune and video.  Nice sound you got there.  Dude, I remember Gene Pitney and "Only Love Can Break A Heart".  It was one of my favorite records back then.   My kind of music!!

SupaReels, Wayfarer, emeraldsould and Johnbee58 thanks for listening and your feedback.

When I'm playing the lead, off beat - out of sync, was mentioned but I actually programmed the drums like that. I liked it but maybe I need to look at it again.

    Thanks, again, to you.

Mix sounds OK here apart for the little timing jump noted above, thanks for sharing.

The sync you might look at is video guitar picking vs. Audio guitar picking. I didn't notice anything about the drums. The music sounded fine to me on its own. You could probably let it go, it's just a picky video thing. Cool, memorable tune!

I love a song that tells a story and this one has some great memories that you shared.  Overall, this is a cool number, well done, and correcting the glitches mentioned above might improve the song. However, IMHO they did not really detract from the song at all.  Oh ya, the video was well done and entertaining as well.  Nice one!!!!!!

Between 1:53 & 2:10 in the video I change beats there from a shuffle to an eights beat and then back to the shuffle. I hope that is what everyone is referring to. If not I'm not aware of what you mean.

Now that is a fine road vibe blues tune ya got there...

The lyrics and vocals were great, and everything sounds just right for the style IMO.   I did like that brief straight shift from the shuffle.

Cool song, cool video and nice guitar work. Not to mention, this all takes place just a few miles down the road from me. I was once majorly stuck on a muddy Farm Road with my Jeep just outside of Royce City.

Michael, thanks. That area around Royse City is sure growing. I used to live in Dallas for years. Grew up in Sulphur Springs and live there now. Small world.
