Bandlab assistant won't let me log in

So this has happened for a week now. I've uninstalled and reinstalled and changed my password but am still getting a pretty little Something Went Wrong box with a Request failed with status 401.

Brother.

I know I'm not a genius but this little app is annoying.

I was getting a 502 error for a while today - I left it an hour and it went away.

Ya, I get something similar . . . as you say "Something Went Wrong box with a Request failed with status 401"
. . . but it did let me still log in. Then when trying to log in again I get this javascript error, with a lengthy explanation of things gone wrong . . . but I hit OK, and I can still log in.
Something's just not right . . . maybe another BandLab Assistant update is coming, will that be update number 10 ?

No problems here on a fully patched Windows 10 Pro machine.

Are you using version 3.20 of Bandlab Assistant?

Have you tried exiting (using the cog | menu | exit) and reinstalling?

The latest version can be downloaded from here:

Thanks promidi . . . my Windows 10 is patched to date . . . but, updating Java, reinstalling BandLab Assistant from your link, and a Windows restart has fixed it for me . . . though, I did have BA version 3.20 already installed. Me thinks some messy coding is going on.

Whoops, spoke too soon, when re-launching BandLab Assistant, it still throws a JavaScript error.
. . . but not a showstopper, click OK and able to log in to my BandLab.

For some reason my password was not working as well. Emailed support and it is all cleared. Up.

    Hi,

I got error 502 today but I am still able to log in.  I checked JavaScript to see when it was last updated and it was yesterday. I am wondering if a new Java update is needed or is this a Bandlab update?

Still running BandLab assistant 3.10, which let me upgrade CbB from 2018.05 to 2018.06 without any issues.

DAW: CbB; Sonar Platinum, and others ...

Java and JavaScript are completely unrelated, and as far as I can see BandLab Assistant does not use Java.

It does however, use an embedded browser which uses JavaScript.

502 is "Bad Gateway" http error, which points to a BandLab server issue, as I suspect the other error issues are.

This is correct. Unfortunate marketing decisions lead to both languages and several related products having coffee-themed names.

Some week ago I wrote to BandLab support. They answered that they kow the issue and their engineers are working to solve it with the next BA update.

I cant either, I get a 400 error which must be the something that went wrong.
If I put in my Cakewalk single sign on credentials then it lets me in. It looks like it's not saving the credentials any longer. That's just how it appears anyway.
