SOLVED:Monitorizer Efx Chain preset - where is it?

I have the Anderton collection, and the 30th anniversary collection for efx chain presets, but the monitorizer is not there....is it available separately somewhere else?

It was included in the 30th Anniversary FX Chains that was part of the 2017.10 release. Look for "Monitorizer II" (there were some slight improvements).

Craig I have tried twice to send you a PM but you must have me blocked - anyhoo, essentially I was asking
if you can advise what efx you used and the settings so I can re-create the Monitorizer myself. After installing the builds recommended and the X2 version it still does not appear.

Can you help?

Thanks

so 143 views and not one person can explain why these are NOT in any installation I have. I have now run all the installers including the build CA mentioned above as well as, X1, X2, X3, and Platinum  (so the directory is now a bloody mess) and still no Monitorizer appears anywhere.

All I am trying to do is try it instead of having to spend near $150 for the Sonarworks app.

I even checked on CA's webpage and while it is mentioned the actual chain construction is not.

You could try ToneBoosters Morphit (30 euros) it is quite good, very good actually
https://www.toneboosters.com/tb_morphit_v1.html

or Waves NX, again very good, but costs a bit more, $99, but you could catch it on sale.

I have the above mentioned 2, and I also have Sonarworks, which of course is very good. From what I remember of the Monitorizer it was pretty much crap, especially when compared to any of the above, but it was free I guess (you get what you pay for), it couldn't even begin to compete with the 3 mentioned above.

I've uploaded the FX Chain to my OneDrive. You can download it from here:

https://1drv.ms/u/s!Am5TdLYuWxQOnHbNcw75TerUgcJO

However bear in mind this is nowhere near as sophisticated a device as what Sonarworks offers. It's intended more for those who have to take a laptop and headphones on the road, and want a sound that's more like speakers than the "flat" sound of headphones.

Note this is a SEND effect! Also note the bus out goes to the same output your master bus goes, not to your master bus. Make sure you read the instructions here:

https://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=SONAR&language=3&help=NewFeatures.048.html

FWIW I downloaded the "30th Anniversary Anderton Collection FX Chains" from 2017.10 at a friend's house last night (he uses CbB) and it was there.

I batch check PMs, so it can take some time to respond.

thanks - hmmm mine 30th anniversary one is not called that I have the 2017.10 install, but it did not create that folder named that. But all that is moot now as you have provided that link, very much appreciated!

And thanks for the instructions.

EDIT: re PM, ahh thanks for explaining, I have had issues with the PM system here before which is why I thought it was acting the way it was.

Maybe that's because it was never designed to compete with the three mentioned above.

I guess you didn't read the documentation as to the Monitorizer's intended purpose.
