Yes I do know about that ...in truth using the phrase "What is the sound of one hand clapping?" is a gigantic thought provoker that has no one correct answer .
It is more of a Journey VS a destination type of thought provoker that is designed to help a person learn to peel away many of the obvious layers of self inflicted illusion ...
Also depending on the individuals desire to go deep , One could actually experience life in a more healthy state of mind as they uncover the meaning of the phrase as it applies to their life .
Ex, A person that understands aspects of the phrase may be fully aware that they are always an integral part of everything in the seen and unseen world ...
For the sake of this let me use the phrase " No man is an Island "
I'm sitting here typing on my lap top having a cup of coffee . I could fool myself into thinking that I may know something about something , Yet in reality I don't . There is an aspect of my human psych that want's to think that it is in charge and that it knows how to run things better than the Creator ...
Yet in truth those type of delusions only lead to separation and pain for myself and others
In a best case scenario mixed in with lot's of self honesty the absolute best I could hope for is to become a co-creator
with the powers that be ...
what that means to me is I'm not in charge , but I can ride shot gun with something / someone that's a lot smarter than me
I am surrounded by the sweat off the backs of thousands of years of human evolution and it's benefits .
Any person that has any level of self introspection will cop to their $hit and try to make the connection of how their thoughts , desire's and actions play out in this world . Even if it only turns out in private .
We are all connected in every aspect of lives whether we choose to acknowledge this connection or not and I'm not talking about cell phones or the internet either.
Now while I am sitting here I can honestly say that I have reaped the benefits and rewards of thousands and thousands of people just doing what they do in life
I had eggs , Yet I didn't feed the chickens ...I had coffee Yet I didn't ride along with Juan Valdez and pick the beans. I got electricity and I didn't even have to hold Ben's kite in the thunderstorm
anyway sorry about the verbal metaphoric transgressions . it's in my DNA
My general point is that it is possible to sit with oneself and discover many of life's hidden treasures right where one is ...
I guess for every few precious moments that I am in a state of peace and being connected I'm not suffering from the tyrannical grasp of my other hand
